Recently I was reading a 'get inspired' list from a blog I enjoy and it did indeed inspire me and gave me some great reminders.
It also sparked my imagination about what has and continues to work for myself that enables me to live a life I truly love and feel inspired by as well as run my #digitalnomad coaching business from my laptop anywhere in the world (currently in Ecuador as I write this).
I decided to make this week's blog post this list in the hopes that as you read it, it may inspire you to take action or even just smile and feel a deep sense of gratitude for your journey on the path to your dreams.
Here are 52 ways that I know to be true to grow your business and love your life...

Over the last year I have been testing out a new way of working: “Do Less To Get More Done.” I had heard of this concept many times before, however, it wasn’t until 2013 when I really started to put this into practice (most of the time… I’m a work-in-progress like everyone!).
Here’s what I had to learn:
- make decisions faster
- say “No” a lot more
- let go
- did I mention, trust?
For most entrepreneurs, who are “doers”, this concept is foreign. We live in a culture that celebrates hard work, persistence and “go, go, go!” Realistically, that is how a lot of success has happened for a lot of people. But I began to ponder: Is there a better way, really?
After years of running myself ragged, I decided it was time to find out.

As entrepreneurs we are constantly hitting the ‘Go!’ button. However, as humans life can throw us some inevitable curve balls that make us hit ‘Stop’. These situations can be tragic, like losing a loved one, a big break up or a really bad outcome from a previous decision.
So, when tragedy strikes, how can you pick yourself up again and get back on the path to success?
I recently discovered this as ‘life happened’ to me in a very unexpected way when in August, 2013, I lost my father...

In honour of my father, J. Wayne Trask who passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013, this week’s, Magic of Marketing is coming to you via text instead of video.
My father was an exceptional human being. He was the kind of person who, when he walked into the room, you were happy it was him. Dad always had a smile on his face; he also found the positive side of any situation.
During the last week of his life, a friend of mine who had lost her dad suggested that I write a letter to my dad about what he meant to me and read it to him before he passes. I thought that was good advice. When I sat down to collect my thoughts, instead of a letter, a top 10 list appeared.
I took the opportunity to share this list with you today because I feel that it represents the core of who Dad was and it truly is a list of life lessons that can create a very fulfilling and happy life.
Here it is. I trust you’ll find wisdom here as I have for so many years.

Have you ever wondered if that big goal you are working towards is ever going to make it your way? You know the one I’m talking about. The goal that has been on your list for what seems like f-o-r-e-v-e-r!
I know exactly how you are feeling. I have felt the same way and found a secret to break free from the pattern of wishing it would happen to accelerating it into fruition.
Today, on this week’s episode of The Magic of Marketing, I’m going to share that secret with you!
