Recently I was reading a 'get inspired' list from a blog I enjoy and it did indeed inspire me and gave me some great reminders.
It also sparked my imagination about what has and continues to work for myself that enables me to live a life I truly love and feel inspired by as well as run my #digitalnomad coaching business from my laptop anywhere in the world (currently in Ecuador as I write this).
I decided to make this week's blog post this list in the hopes that as you read it, it may inspire you to take action or even just smile and feel a deep sense of gratitude for your journey on the path to your dreams.

Have you ever had a moment in your life where something just clicked? It was as though you had been in the dark your whole life and then ‘boom’ the light came on.
I’m sure you probably have experienced this more than once. Do you ever wish that could happen to you in your business? Do you wish that someone could just flick a switch and you would have all the money, clients and success you really desire?
I have a piece of good news for you. You can flick the switch. Anytime you want. And this is the universe telling you, “It’s time to turn on the lights.”

Over the last year I have been testing out a new way of working: “Do Less To Get More Done.” I had heard of this concept many times before, however, it wasn’t until 2013 when I really started to put this into practice (most of the time… I’m a work-in-progress like everyone!).
Here’s what I had to learn:
- make decisions faster
- say “No” a lot more
- let go
- did I mention, trust?
For most entrepreneurs, who are “doers”, this concept is foreign. We live in a culture that celebrates hard work, persistence and “go, go, go!” Realistically, that is how a lot of success has happened for a lot of people. But I began to ponder: Is there a better way, really?
After years of running myself ragged, I decided it was time to find out.

However, we know that deep down, ultimately, they are the ones who are responsible for their success. No matter how great of a coach you are, if someone doesn’t do the work (physical and/or non-physical), there is little you can do to help them.
The same of course, applies to us and our dreams and ambitions. We are the ones who are ultimately responsible for our success.
Recently, I had an experience where I heard the affirmation, ‘Be Available’.
It spurred so many thoughts in my head and I knew this was a powerful statement…

As coaches we are blessed to work with our clients everyday. However, sometimes clients can come along that aren’t always the best match for us. You know the ones I’m talking about...you cringe everytime you see their email in your inbox or their number on your phone.
One of the best parts of being your own boss if that you get to decide who you work with. So, the question is...
