  • get real with money. Let’s take a look at your money from all angles and discover how you really feel about it. You’ll learn where it really comes from, how to set yourself up to receive more of it, and how to let abundance shower over you.
  • take a look at your current offerings, audience, and brand, and make any tweaks necessary to help you create awesome packages, products, and programs that will have your ideal clients excited to buy.
  • learn how to cultivate and build a tribe of people who love you and who can’t wait to buy from you. These people will support you and help you spread your message and get more clients.
  • get yourself out there in a big way. We will create a simple strategy to help you really put your message out into the world, so it gets noticed and helps you build your list, impact, and sales.

Here’s the thing that you need to know…

Being a great coach will only get you so far. You must understand how to market and sell yourself and how to manage a business in terms of time, systems, money, marketing, etc. As well, it is important to be able to learn how to detach yourself from your business so that you can be a great decision maker. Often times, especially in the beginning, coaches can become very emotionally attached to their business and the outcomes of its activities. This leads to bad business decisions and behaviours which tends to have them running cycles of over-extending themselves and not making enough money (can you relate)?

Even after growing up in an entrepreneurial family, (my father was a very successful entrepreneur and philanthropist and my brother currently runs several successful businesses), going to business school twice (undergrad and post grad), and working in the family business and in the corporate world, I still had SO MUCH to learn when I first became an entrepreneur back in 2008. I didn't know that what I didn't know was a lot. I’m still learning every single day. It never stops.

If you don’t have a business background or even if you do but you are new to this industry, you have a learning curve. Let that excite you instead of hinder you. No one can tell you how long it will take you to make X amount or to learn what you need to learn. The one thing that I can tell you is that if you want to move forward as fast as possible, then hiring a coach who has walked your path is one of the smartest decisions you can make.

Coaches waste a lot of time and money trying to figure things out on their own. It’s much faster and cost effective for you to learn from the best. This is the method that I employ when I am learning something new in my own business.

Lastly, remember that building a business is a marathon, not a sprint. You must build the right foundation in your business so that you can gain leverage as you go to each new level in your business and so you are prepared for the success that comes with it.

Success Story PhotoI first met Jennifer when I signed up for a KIVA appointment with her. At the time, I was about a year into my business. I wasn’t clear what being an entrepreneur looked like, I’d taken a high-end online business and marketing training course and even after it, I couldn’t escape feeling overwhelmed and unclear.

When I’d sit down at my desk for the day, I didn’t know what I was supposed to do, and I mostly spent a lot of time getting nothing done. Thinking back, besides lurking Facebook and looking at business trainings and sending the occasional personal e-mail, I don’t remember how I spent my days.

And that’s not even talking about the sporadic sixty dollars every few months I might have made (in a series of good months).

After the KIVA appointment I interviewed other coaches, trying to find a lower price than Jennifer’s programs. Some of the interviews were very spiritual/intuitive, and left me feeling like I was moving backwards in my own baggage, and not forward in my business.
