It comes up a lot; coaches feel icky about asking and receiving money for their coaching. Especially when their packages start getting into the thousands of dollars. However it seems as though every time I mention this example to a coach feeling this way, they feel so much better about their pricing and RECEIVING money for it! The coaching industry is booming. In 2012 alone, the coaching industry was at 2 Billion in sales.
We know the growth of online coaches popping up are at an all time high. Obviously, all this new competition in the marketplace is making it more difficult to be seen, heard and get people to be interested in you. Despite this, I have noticed that when you are super focused on what you are doing, always improving yourself and you are in alignment, closing the sale isn't as difficult as it may seem.

We’ve all been there. You are working really hard, doing everything you are suppose to be doing yet it still isn’t working. Now you may be feeling resentful, exhausted and not to hopeful about how things are going to turn around. Have you ever experienced this? Maybe you are there now? It’s like you're in a business slump.
I know exactly how you feel. I’ve been there too and it really does suck.

Let’s be honest here. If you are in business for yourself, sometimes it gets hard. Really hard in fact. We try things, they don’t work. We have to learn new skills, platforms, techniques... new everything! We work with people, they aren’t happy. We talk to a prospect, they say no. We talk to another, they say no too. We put ourselves out there and get crickets.
The list goes on and on about how business can get hard.
Even though it gets hard sometimes, we must know what to do when those difficult times arise. Why? Because if we hold ourself in a space of negative emotion then we lose precious time (and happiness). The only resource we can never get back is time and in the world of entrepreneurship, time is of the essence. Learning how to bounce back after a fall is a crucial skill to every entrepreneur.
