Back in 2004, co-authors Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo created a movement on the dating scene that liberated women from men who were never going to give them what they want when their best selling book, He's Just Not That Into You hit book stores. The book was so popular that five years later it was turned into a Hollywood blockbuster movie.
The book has a solid lesson for daters. As business is just like dating, the advice can easily be applied to your business.
If you've been wanting things to get A LOT better in your coaching business, this is a must watch!

We have seen a dangerous conversation enter into the coaching industry over the last two years. One that has been dashing dreams quickly and leaving people feeling hopeless that having a truly successful coaching business that can support their dreams and allow them to give their gifts to the world in the way they really want, is not realistic.
The 'get rich quick' mentality has been infiltrated into the industry with promises of 5-figure months in a flash and a 6-figure income for life within time frames so fast it will have your head spinning.
Having been working with coaches build businesses for the last 6 years, I've had enough of this conversation and more importantly, I've had enough of seeing too many coaches feel as though they can't make it happen for them because it hasn't happened, 'yet' and it seems as though it has happened for everyone else.
Well, don't believe everything you see.
Here is my call out to all the coaches who are ready to shift the conversation in our industry because God knows, it's time for change.

Getting clear on your priorities in your coaching business really matters.
Clarity is SO powerful. It can mean the difference between gaining big momentum and staying stagnant.
You know you are not yet clear on your priorities when you...
1. Find yourself wondering what you should be doing more than you would like to admit.
2. Don’t have clear business objectives that you are actively working to achieve.
3. Procrastinate and do a lot of busy work but nothing of true value really gets done.
4. Aren’t getting any real traction or results in your business.
If this is you, here are three steps to get clear on your priorities so that you can start getting momentum and traction in your business.

The sales call, also known as a discovery call, is a very important skill to master to ensure that your coaching business is a success. If you find that you get anxious about having them or perhaps you don't even know how to do them well, you are not alone. Many coaches have a huge fear of them and would prefer to not do them at all.
From what I have experienced in my own business and with clients, this is only temporary. You can learn to love sales calls (yes, L-o-v-e them!) and see them as a natural, fun part of your business once you learn how to do them really well.
Today, I'm going to help you uncover the most critical moment in any sales call and what to do about it.
Knowing about this moment and how to handle it can make ALL the difference between you keeping or losing your confidence on the call. Which of course, is important to you inspiring a resounding, "YES!" from your ideal client.

I'm always intrigued at the assumptions people have about my abilities because I help other people build their businesses. Countless times I have heard coaches from all niches say to me me, 'but it's easier for you to sell because you help people make money'.
Today, I want to cover three confessions about being a business coach that come from three major assumptions a lot of people make. One of which will cover, is it really easier for me to sell business coaching than any other type of coaching?
Find out in today's video.
